Protecting Yourself During Extreme Heat

As temperatures soar across the Western United States, it's crucial to prioritize your health and safety. The extreme heat can lead to dehydration, heat exhaustion, and even heatstroke, which can be life-threatening if not treated promptly.

Staying Hydrated and Cool

Staying hydrated is essential during hot weather. Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty. You can also opt for electrolyte-rich drinks, such as sports drinks or coconut water, to replenish lost minerals. Avoid sugary drinks, as they can dehydrate you further.
