Legendary Television orders full season for HBO Max

Legendary Television announced a full series order for Dune: The Sisterhood in June 2019, produced for WarnerMedia's streaming service HBO Max. The six-episode first season is set to debut this fall.

The new series is a prequel to Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi saga, set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet). It expands upon the universe of Dune created by author Frank Herbert and follows the rise of the Bene Gesserit, a powerful all-female order.
