Beetlejuice is a 1988 American supernatural comedy film directed by Tim Burton. The film stars Michael Keaton as the title character, a mischievous ghost who is hired by a recently deceased couple (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) to scare away the new family that has moved into their home. Winona Ryder co-stars as a teenage girl who befriends Beetlejuice and helps him with his plans.
