A tale of two halves as Manchester City and Tottenham draw 3-3

Manchester City looked set to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table as they led 3-0 at half time at the Etihad Stadium, but a stunning second half fight back from Tottenham saw the visitors claim a point.

City opened the scoring through Rodri in the fourth minute, before Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez added further goals to give the home side a comfortable lead at the break. However, Tottenham came out fighting in the second half and pulled a goal back through Dejan Kulusevski in the 57th minute. Harry Kane then equalised for the visitors in the 82nd minute, before completing the comeback with a dramatic stoppage-time penalty.

The draw means that Manchester City remain top of the Premier League table, but their lead over second-placed Arsenal is now just two points. Tottenham move up to fifth place, three points behind Manchester United in fourth.
